July 5
Annual July Fourth Picnic, Princeton Park - 1 PM until 6 PM - Bring a covered Dish.
July 11th-13th
The 6th Annual Tazewell County Old Time & Bluegrass Fiddlers’ Convention will be held July 11th - 13th at the Tazewell County Fairgrounds. Band competitions will be held both the 11th and 12th, and individual competitions will be held on the 12th. For more information, call 276-988-6755
August 1st and 2nd
The Mercer County Fair will be held this year on the grounds at PikeView High School on August 1st and 2nd. The music will be held in the theater in the school with AHMA bands performing both evenings beginning at 6:00 p.m. Friday’s scheduled bands are “B & H Bluegrass Express” and “Diggin’ Grass.” On Saturday the bands performing will be “Black Diamond” and “Sandy River Bluegrass Band.”

to carry on and preserve Bluegrass
and Old-Time Music. A few of the many
ways we do this is by giving out
our Scholarship Awards, holding monthly
shows and special events.
